Our Journey

Potlapalli Farms began in 2009 as a dream — to create a farm where animals are treated with respect, food is grown without chemicals, and families can trust what they eat.

Located in the serene countryside, Potlapalli Farms began in 2009 with a simple dream — to create a place where animals are cared for with respect, food is grown naturally, and families can trust what they eat. We focus on sustainable and ethical farming practices, raising free-range goats, native chickens, and dairy animals without harmful chemicals or artificial methods. Our goal is to provide pure, nutritious products straight from our farm to your home.

Today, we deliver fresh produce directly to homes — cutting out middlemen, reducing carbon footprint, and bringing farm-fresh goodness to your table.

Every drop of milk, every egg, every cut of meat is handled with care — because we believe food should be honest, healthy, and full of life.

The Visionary

Mr. Potlapalli Balakrishna was born in “Pullalacheruvu” village, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, in 1964. The youngest of five brothers, he was raised in a family deeply rooted in agriculture. His ancestors migrated and served as custodians of land and tradition through generations.

He completed his schooling at ZPHS, earned a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Hindu College, Guntur, and pursued higher studies in History, Political Science, and English from Osmania and Kakatiya Universities. Though he aimed for civil services, life led him toward education and entrepreneurship.

In Hyderabad, he built a career in teaching and real estate, but always carried the dream of returning to the soil. His belief in "work is worship" inspired the creation of Potlapalli Farm — a legacy rooted in values, knowledge, and nature.

Today, his vision guides every decision — ensuring that Potlapalli Farms remains a symbol of integrity, sustainability, and rural empowerment.

The Founder

Backed by a legacy of over two decades, Potlapalli Venkateshwara Rao is the visionary behind Potlapalli Farms, seamlessly combining his expertise as a seasoned leader in the pharmaceutical industry with a deep-rooted passion for sustainable farming

What began as a dream to provide chemical-free, honest food has grown into a trusted farm brand. His scientific approach ensures every product meets the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and nutrition.

Even while managing a demanding corporate career, he has dedicated himself to building the farm from the ground up — overseeing animal care, feed quality, and delivery logistics with unwavering commitment.

Under his leadership, Potlapalli Farms brings freshness, transparency, and health to every household. His journey proves that farming can be both noble and modern. Noticing that Hyderabad’s meat market is dominated by supplies from Maharashtra, Karnataka and beyond, he aimed to localize. By entering the market, Potlapalli Farms now offers fresh, locally-sourced natukodi and mutton, supporting regional farmers and ensuring better quality for consumers.
